Welcome to FM 2.0 April's Top 10 Most Voted Songs! I'm Dawn Natasha, aka Electras, and you can catch me weekdays from 1 to 4 PM Eastern Standard Time right here on our station. This month, we've introduced two exciting new shows: FM 2.0 Echoes, a show that highlights iconic past and present music from your favorite artists, and The Drop, where I showcase fresh, off-mainstream music and you get to vote on whether or not we should add them to our rotation. Now, let’s dive into April's Top 10 countdown! Starting off at number 10, we’ve got the pop-punk, electro-emo trio ‪@AirDrawnDagger‬ with their new track Bellyaches, from their newly released A Guide for Apparitions album. This song is a nostalgic nod to getting into trouble with friends, but believing everything will be okay in the end. At number 9, we have ‪@bridgesablaze‬ , the Austin-based duo with "Heartless". Described as an anthem about the end of a painful relationship, this one was featured earlier this month on The Drop. Keep an eye out for their upcoming interview with FM 2.0! Coming in at number 8, we’ve got Michigan’s #wanted with #UndertheLaw Influenced by legends like #Ratt ‪@dokkenofficial‬ this band is bringing back that #classic80s #heavymetal sound. For the biggest surprise of the month, at number 7, we have ‪@EvaUnderFire‬ with Another Shot Through the Heart. They’ve dropped from the number one spot, but they’ve been keeping fans engaged with announcements of upcoming summer shows. At number 6, new to the countdown, we’ve got ‪@JasonCharlesMiller‬ with his country rock track #darkesthour Just released a few days ago, this one’s a must-listen! At number 5, it's #TheManicStandstill with #reasonswhy , a reflection on confrontation. This LA-based band is gearing up for their debut album, and you can catch their interview with us soon! Down by one from last month, we’ve got ‪@TheImmedFamily‬ at number 4, with their new track A Little Rain Must Fall. Let’s hear more about it from the artist himself, #JoeWalla In the top 3, ‪@santana‬ featuring ‪@daughtry‬ brings us their cover of ‪@defleppard‬ #photograph . Both artists have been on the move—Santana is set to headline the Montreux Jazz Festival, and Daughtry is touring with ‪@DisturbedMusic‬ . At number 2, #moist with #partiesover has made waves this month. They’re also announcing festival appearances this summer, including Fest Du Bois 2025 and the Tall Pines Music and Arts Festival. And finally, in at number 1, it’s the legendary ‪@BillyIdol‬ with Bitter Sweet, from his latest album Dream Into It. With a collaboration featuring Avril Lavigne, this album is packed with bangers.
